Clinical Massage Therapist
2200-hr Advanced Training
Massage Therapy has changed my life. Prior to my life as an RMT I was a Graphic Artist. Over time I
suffered from back pain and contacted a Massage Therapist through my doctor. It sparked a change
that would ripple through my life. I re-evaluated what was important in my life and found that I
needed to do work that was meaningful and people-oriented. |
|
Through a suggestion and lots of
research I decided to become a Massage Therapist myself. I graduated from Kikkawa College in
Toronto with a 2200 hour diploma. Six years in the profession I have a vast amount of knowledge and
experience in the field of Massage Therapy. I have advanced training in Myofacial Relase, Suikodo, Hot
Stone Massage, Thai Massage and Body Treatments (exfoliation/polishes).
I have worked in two of the
top Canadian spas in Canada and have many hours donated to charitable causes. I am registered in Ontario and Alberta. I am continuing my education in the health care field with Quantum-Touch, Sound Therapy, Holistic Nutrition and Personal Training. My dream is to one day become a leader in
preventative care through diet, exercise and rest.
Contact me today to see how I can help you through
Massage Therapy. |

Laura Dart, RMT
Clinical Massage Therapist
2200-hr Advanced Training
I’ve always known I wanted a career in which I could work one on one helping people. Having had an interest in sports medicine, muscles and bones since Jr. High massage therapy, focusing in Athletic Massage, seemed the natural course. I also believe people need to start taking their health into their own hands and not relying on medication so much. I am a big advocate of complimentary and alternative medicine such as Chiropractic, Massage Therapy and Naturopathy. |
|
I recently graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy 2200 hour diploma program, and am currently registered in Alberta and soon to be Ontario. I have a deep tissue, therapeutic approach to massage in which I like to find out the root of the problem and, working with you and your lifestyle, figure out the proper rehabilitation to achieve optimum health.
Through continuing education I plan on specializing in Athletic Massage focusing on injury prevention and post injury rehabilitation. One day I hope to work with Olympic and Paralypic athletes alike, and join them at the Games one year as one of the many therapists who aid and support the success of the team. |
